THE story

This isn't just another oldies station or a collection of greatest hits. It's a musical journey through six decades of memories, experiences and discoveries, celebrating the songs that have inspired, comforted, challenged and stayed with us over a lifetime.

The station begins in the 1960s with the music that changed popular culture forever and follows the decades as they unfolded—from the classic sounds of the Sixties and Seventies, through the vibrant Eighties and Nineties, into the new millennium and beyond. Along the way you'll hear the artists, albums and unforgettable songs that defined each era.
But In My Life Radio is about far more than decades.
Our programmes follow the soundtrack of a life well lived.
You'll hear the music of childhood and school days, when parents' record collections and the weekly Top 40 first sparked a lifelong love of music. You'll revisit the songs of college and university, where friendships, independence and discovery were accompanied by unforgettable records.
The journey continues through the years of building a career, raising a family, experiencing love, loss, marriage and divorce, before following a new chapter of starting again abroad, discovering different cultures, making lifelong friendships and embracing new horizons.
